O Christmas Tree

Well folks, I have been bitten by the holiday bug! Sunday (Nov. 27th) we bought and decorated our tree and drug out all of the decorations and put them up around the house…and it’s not even December yet! The kids had a blast playing in the lights as I was putting them on the tree and Brady helped me put on the ornaments and he did such a good job. I absolutely love Christmas and this year is going to be so much fun watching our kids come down the stairs with their sleepy little eyes and watching those little eyes get huge as they see what Santa has brought them. Brady is almost 5 now and he is at the age where he is getting into the Christmas spirit as much as me. He keeps asking when Santa is coming and how he is going to come down the chimney. He has made his Wish List at Toys R Us and Target and has fallen asleep many nights looking at toy catalogs that have come in the mail. Kacey is only 15 months old so she won’t know what is going on except that someone has brought her alot of goodies! I need to get her a new stocking, her one from last year says ‘Baby’s 1st” on it so its time to get her a big girl stocking. Scott and I are having fun talking about what to get them. We will have to enlist the help of a babysitter so we can get out together and shop for them. Now that the tree is up and the inside of the house is almost complete with decorations it will be time to move on to the outside where we will be putting up lights for the first time this year.
